About Us
The Anglican Diocese of Sydney has a concern for how our society operates and how Christians can live as God's people in our social context.
The Social Issues Executive has been appointed by the Standing Committee of the Diocese and seeks to help Anglicans and others to think through social issues from a Christian perspective, and to help them in their daily lives as they interact with their world.
The following people are currently members of the Social Issues Executive:
- The Rev. Dr Andrew Cameron (Chairman)
- Mr Darren Mitchell
- Deaconess Margaret Rodgers
- Dr Karin Sowada
- The Rev. Dr Andrew Ford
- Dr Megan Best
The work of the Social Issue Executive was once done by the ‘Social Issues Committee’ (SIC).
